The Master’s Message - November 2008
October has passed. Taking with it, more than a memory.
Be it at the bank, in the store or just filling the gas tank, its hard not to notice the shaken and stirred look upon so many faces. For most, this Autumn has brought with it, more that just the first chill of winter wind. Our traumatized economy has been a serious poke in the eye for many. Far and few between are those that are reflecting upon this fall season as the crowning glory of the year.
However, as Masons, we are most fortunate…”Our trust is in God”
Perhaps this is why I see warm smiling faces when I walk through the doors of Hiram No.18. I take heart, because regardless of whether my brothers are laughing with me or at me, they are laughing. We have a great time, every time we get together. It is wonderful to have such good spirited, uplifting men in our Lodge. I really do look forward to seeing the brothers at our meetings and Degrees.
Speaking of Degrees, there are several more to come before 2008 comes to a close. Check the calendar of the website. It has been remarkable year for all of us at Hiram No. 18. It has been amazing to witness the personal development and achievements of so many in such a short time. It is your generosity, commitment and kindness that continue to illuminate our sanctuary. Take heart and be glad, your friends are waiting to see you at your Lodge.
As for the economy…
