From the East, March 2009 Brethren, I would like to extend my thanks to the brothers and their ladies who attended our Ladies at Table Lodge. Many thanks, to the visiting brethren and their ladies that came out to support the occasion. The fellowship and attendance allowed for an enjoyable evening. RW Bro. Marshall K. Robinson, has graciously accepted to sit in as Worshipful Master on Wednesday March 18, when we have our Master Mason Degree. I encourage all to attend, because if you have not seen Bro. Marshall’s degree work, it is an evening that cannot be missed. The 220th Annual Communication of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge A.F. & A. M. of Connecticut is fast approaching which will be held on Monday March 30, 2009. We will see the installation of a new Grand Master and Grand Lodge Officers. Our Annual Dinner Dance with the Berkshire Big Band will be on Saturday, April 18, at Roberto’s Restaurant in Monroe, CT. Tickets are $60 per person, $120 a couple. If you’re interested in attending please contact Bro. Anthony Raiani at (203) 364 – 8562 or by email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please attend, if you can, and invite your friends and family, as it supports the lodge financially, and nourishes fellowship. We will soon see the new Hiram Lodge # 18 Trestle-board and I would like to thank the efforts and dedication of Bro. Hans, and Bro. Bill towards this much missed lodge communication. Our efforts to clean up and restore the lodge building and grounds will be continued with the help of the Building and Grounds Committee. The construction of the Gunner Lindstrom Memorial and Masonic Library and Museum has been started and new ideas are in motion to expand and enhance this project. Fraternally, WB Sean M.
