"...ever to walk and act as such..." These are the words spoken at the EA degree by the Master in declaration of the petitioner having been made a Mason. At home, work, at the mall, in line at motor vehicles, at the bank, doctor's office, driving down the road, meeting a new Mason...

These are the "ever" that the Master is referring to. Does "ever" mean everywhere AND forever? I think so, and purport to you to believe the same. Those words spoken at that moment, transformed me from Marty the Manager in a Recruiting firm to Marty, a proud Brother Mason hailing from Hiram Lodge #18, the Manager in a Recruiting firm. A light went on for me back then, and has been my "eternal light" burning to show me the way through thick and thin.

May the "light" of those words, first heard at your EA degree as the youngest EA in the NE corner, forever be in your ears, mind, and heart, as we journey through 2011 to achieve our best year ever!
